Marvel Studios has revealed a new full-length trailer for the upcoming MCU Phase 5 movie, "The Marvels." Directed by Nia DaCosta, and led by Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris, The Marvels is currently scheduled to release on November 10, 2023, exclusively in theaters, worldwide.

The new trailer gives us a new look at Zawe Ashton's character Dar-Benn, who will be the leading villain in this film. Dar-Benn is having a bangle kind of gadget which looks very similar to what Ms. Marvels aka Kamala Khan wears to get her powers. The trailer suggests Dar-Benn is the Kree revolutionary who is coming to take revenge on Carol Danvers after what she did to her.

Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences force Carol to bear the burden of a destabilized universe. When her responsibilities take her to an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. As "The Marvels," this unlikely trio must band together and learn to work together to save the universe.

The movie follows the events of Ms. Marvel (2022) as Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau begin swapping places with each other whenever they use their powers. The film will delve into the cosmic world as all three superheroes must team up to determine what's happening to them and why.

The cast also includes Samuel L. Jackson who returns as Nick Fury, Zawe Ashton, and Seo Jun Park. It is not confirmed whether Nick Fury in the film will be the pre-Secret Ivasion or if it will be set after the events of the upcoming Disney+ Series.

Nia DaCosta has directed the film based on a screenplay written by Megan McDonnell.

In Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, a human who becomes involved in a conflict between two alien races, the Kree and the shape-shifting Skrulls. Surviving an explosion caused by an alien machine infused her with enormous strength, transforming her into Captain Marvel and establishing her as one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
