After months of denying and lying Andrew Garfield has finally opened up about his return as Amazing Spider-Man in the Spider-Man: No Way Home. Garfield reprised his role of Peter Parker from The Amazing Spider-Man universe along with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire as Peter Parkers.

In an interview with Variety, Garfield confirmed that he is open up to returning as more of Spider-Man in the future. "I mean, yes, definitely open to something if it felt right. Peter and Spider-Man, those characters are all about service, to the greater good and the many," he said. "He’s a working-class boy from Queens that knows struggle and loss and is deeply empathetic. I would try to borrow Peter Parker’s ethical framework in that, if there was an opportunity to step back in and tell more of that story, I would have to feel very sure and certain in myself."

Fans are currently campaigning for Sony to make The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with Andrew Garfield, while some rumor suggests that Sony is also considering the same, there is no official confirmation from the studio. Sony is expanding its Spider-Man cinematic universe with characters like Venom, Morbius, Kraven: The Hunter, Silk, and more. A Spider-Gwen (Spider-Woman) movie is also rumored to be in development with Emma Stone to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy.

Garfield also talked about how his return to the NWH was brought into reality. He said it was completely unexpected, and he never thought he will be having a conversation about playing Peter Parker again, but he got this call from Amy Pascal, Kevin Feige, and Jon Watts with this idea, and it was immediately undeniable. "On a basic level, seeing three Spider-Men in the same frame was enough for me as a Spider-Man fan," said Garfield. "It sounded incredibly fun, incredibly spiritual — trippy and thematically interesting."

He continued, "That character is isolated in his emotional experience and physical experience. But what happens when that aloneness gets blasted open, and you come to realize that you’ve never been alone and other brothers are going through the exact same thing? That’s a big spiritual journey to go on, man. And then we just milked out all the fun that we could possibly have."

Garfield also told that he and Tobey Maguire continuously shoot for two weeks and also confirmed that the screenwriters wanted Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone to reprise their roles as well. "Oh my god, I don’t even know where to start with that. It’s too big. Gwen had agency. In our film, on her final day, she shows up. I tried to restrain her from showing up to that scene with Electro. I knew that it was too dangerous, but she chose to be there. She had a hand in her own destiny in that way, and the movie is about fate," said Garfield. This also confirms another rumor and our theory that Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) has returned from being dead due to the Multiverse collapse and the events of No Way Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently in theaters and breaking the box office records. The film has already grossed more than $1.4 billion, worldwide and with expected China release this month, it is eyeing to reach $2 Billion.
