‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has revealed the trailer (watch) and the premiere date for the fourth season of its hit period drama, which will be divided into two parts. ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Part 1 will be released on January 29, 2026, while Bridgerton’ Season 4 Part 2 will premiere on February 26th, 2026.

The fourth season will see Benedict's (Luke Thompson) glittering meet-cute with the enchanting Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), ushering in an epic romance unlike anything seen before.

The trailer opens with sweeping shots of grand estates and opulent interiors, setting the tone for the Ton's social season. Benedict is introduced as "the season's most notable gentleman," highlighting his bohemian and adventurous nature. He announces, "I am charting a more adventuresome course," indicating a departure from his prior seasons' casual flings. The masquerade ball is central to the story, a glamorous affair full of disguised visitors, candlelit dances, and rumors of scandal. Benedict meets a mysterious woman (Sophie, performed by Yerin Ha), who was dressed as a servant before the ball but transforms for it. Subtle tension is created with statements such as "All eyes shall be on us at my masquerade ball" and "Behind the cover of a mask, anything can happen," implying secrets, pursuits, and potential heartbreak.

The trailer culminates in romantic escalation — kisses, longing stares, and a dreamlike sequence, before flashing the title card with the premiere dates. Throughout the events of the first three seasons, Benedict was preoccupied with candlelit rendezvous with other bohemian men and women, his passion for painting and drawing, and avoiding at all costs the more traditional lifestyle chosen by his siblings. In the upcoming season, Benedict will be intrigued by the Lady in Silver, whom he encounters at his mother, Lady Violet Bridgerton's (Ruth Gemmell) much-anticipated masquerade party. When Benedict sees Sophie at the party, shrouded in a silver mask and illuminated by a massive chandelier, he can't think of anything else or anyone. "You feel like you're in a dream space, and it really plays into our theme this season of fantasy versus reality," says showrunner Jess Brownell. "This is a moment when you should feel like you're in a fantasy. It truly begins that journey for us."

However, the journey of love has never been smooth. Benedict's fortuitous encounter with his mystery lady sends him on a frantic search for her true identity, which she has very solid reasons for concealing. According to the teaser, "Behind the cover of a mask, anything can happen." So, who is the lady, and what happens when destiny reunites her with Benedict? And what role does Sophie, the resourceful maid, play in this amazing love story?

Season 4 is also the steamiest yet, and Benedict isn't the only ton member whose life is heating up. Francesa Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) and her husband John (Victor Alli) return from their honeymoon, married life finds Penelope and Colin more in love than ever (and presumably in a familiar mode of transportation), and Violet is preoccupied with more than her children's plans. Yerin Ha is not the only new face this season; Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei also join the drama.
