‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 Officially Wraps Up Filming at Netflix

Season 4 started filming in February this year and is all set to premiere in Fall 2021

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 has officially wrapped filming today in Atlanta, Georgia with the cast being completely safe from COVID. The filming started on February 27 and went on without any kind of delay, as a result, the cast has wrapped up season 4 within 2 months.


‘Cobra Kai’ showrunner Jon Hurwitz confirmed the season 4 wrap via  Twitter, "And now we’re wrapped!"

 


Martin Kove who plays John Kreese in the series, said, “Tonight, myself and the entire crew of COBRA KAI S4 officially wrapped! What a season, And what a year. A crew that is fearless and shows no mercy, through Covid, we pushed on, we striked first and with a cast that strikes hard! @jonhurwitz @healdrules & @haydenschlossberg101 you have more energy than I knew was humanly possible. The Captains of our cobra Kai ship, leading us to glory daily, without your leadership we would be lost in the waters. Dupree Young and Oona O ' Brien will be a couple of small characters joining the cast in season 4. Season 3 premiered on January 1 this year and quickly became one of the most-watched shows on Netflix. Season 4 is likely to premiere by November 2021 which will be its second season in the same year.


The series was renewed for season 4 by Netflix in October 2020. The show from The Karate Kid film franchise from Sony Pictures Television started its run at YouTube Premium before moving to Netflix for its third season. The first two seasons of “Cobra Kai” are currently streaming on Netflix and have proven to be very popular.


Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett executive produce for Overbrook Entertainment along with Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka serve as co-executive producers.


“Cobra Kai” also stars Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, and Peyton List. Yuji Okumoto and Tamlyn Tomita will also appear.
