Netflix has revealed a new trailer for the Korean-language series, ‘Alchemy of Souls.’ The romance-fantasy series will release on June 18, 2022, on Netflix with the first two episodes.

The series is originally scheduled to premiere on tvN on June 18, 2022, and will air every Saturday and Sunday. The episodes will be available on Netflix soon after their premiere on tvN.

Directed by Park Joon-hwa and written by the Hong sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran), it is set in a fictional country called Daeho that does not exist in history or on maps and depicts the stories of young magicians dealing with heaven and earth. The series has 20 episodes.

Because of "hwanhonsool" (the soul of the dead return to the living), these people's fates have been entwined. Jang Wook (Lee Jae-Wook) is a member of the noble Jang family in Daeho. He has an unpleasant secret about his birth that everyone in the country knows about. He causes trouble. Jang Wook meets Mu-Deok (Jung So-Min) by coincidence. She is a skilled warrior, but her soul is stuck in a frail body. She becomes Jang Wook's servant while simultaneously teaching him how to fight in secret. Seo Yool (Minhyun) is a descendant of the noble Seo family. He appears to be perfect, with a good appearance, intelligence, and powerful martial arts abilities. Go Won (Shin Seung-Ho) is Daeho's crown prince. He aspires to be a generous king.

The series stars Lee Jae-Wook as Jang Wook, Jung So-Min as Mu-Deok, Minhyun as Seo Yool, Shin Seung-Ho as Go Won, Yu Jun-Sang as Park Jin, Oh Na-Ra as Kim Do-Ju, Jo Jae-Yun as Jin Mu, and Hong Seo-Hui as Heo Yoon-Ok.
