Netflix has revealed the first trailer (watch above) and the premiere date of the second season of the Swedish-language series ‘Love & Anarchy.’ The romantic comedy series ‘Love & Anarchy’ will return with Season 2 on June 16 on Netflix, worldwide.
Created by Lisa Langseth, the first season of ‘Love & Anarchy’ was released in November 2020 and was loved by fans across the world.
In Season 2, Recently divorced Sofie is trying to build a life for herself and Max. Due to unforeseen occurrences, she instead finds herself amid a life crisis, which has far-reaching ramifications for her relationship with Max, and nothing goes as planned. Simultaneously, the modest publishing business Lund & Lagersted is attempting to confront the very conventional literary world while simultaneously navigating the new options that society provides today. It doesn't take long for conflicts to emerge between the ancient and the modern, between great art and financial reality. But what is right and wrong, normal and odd, and truly real - and does it even matter? In the midst of all of this chaos, we meet our characters as they struggle to make meaning of love, life, and themselves.
The cast of the second season of the series include Ida Engvoll, Björn Mosten, Gizem Erdogan, Carla Sehn, Reine Brynolfsson, Björn Kjellman, Marina Bouras, Lars Väringer, David Dencik, Johannes Kuhnke, Ruben Lopez, Ludde Hagberg & Yasmine Garbi.
Lisa Langseth & Alex Haridi are the writers behind this season while Emma Bucht has directed the episodes alongside Lisa, who is also an executive producer. Frida Asp & Fatima Varhos are the producers behind the series with Pontus Edgren as executive producer.
