‘Meet Me After School’ Netflix Series Review - A Forbidden Love Story Worth A Watch

Hijiri Suenaga, portrayed by Arimura Kasumi, is a vibrant 25-year-old educator thrust into a substitute teaching role at a co-ed school. Instantly captivating her students, she becomes a beacon of admiration among them. However, her personal life is entangled with Shotaro Kawai (played by Keita Machida), a dedicated but time-constrained corporate professional who harbors hopes of marrying her. Despite his affection, his demanding career leaves him unable to provide the proximity she desires as she embarks on her new teaching journey.
