Sony Pictures has revealed the final trailer for Jared Leto's ‘Morbius.’ The trailer gives us a fresh look at our anti-hero, Morbius the Living Vampire, which will release on April 1 in theaters, worldwide.

This film has taken ages, and we might finally see it in the theaters on the first day of next month. The trailer includes multiple shots where we see Oscorp Tower, Michael Keaton, who played Vulture in MCU's Spider-Man Homecoming starring Tom Holland. It is not clear what character Keaton is playing in this universe, or if it is Vulture from the Homecoming.

After Spider-Man: No Way Home, Morbius is also riding on a hype surrounded by a few rumors. Andrew Garfield has been rumored for a cameo in this film, which may confirm Garfield's Spider-Man existence in this universe. Also, it will make sense as this trailer mentions Rhino, who was part of The Amazing Spider-Man movie starring Garfield. Black Cat is also mentioned in a newspaper in the previous trailer.

Based on the comic books created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane in 1971, the antagonist’s origin story follows Michael Morbius (Leto), a biochemist in search of a cure for his rare blood disease, and determined to save others suffering the same fate as he attempts a desperate gamble. He accidentally injects himself with vampirism, giving him bat-like superpowers like echo-location and an insatiable thirst for blood.  While at first, it seems to be a radical success, the darkness inside him is unleashed.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” has currently earned more than $1.7 billion at the worldwide box office while Venom: Let there Be Cranage finished with more than $500 million. Sony was hoping to continue its 2021 momentum in 2022 but now as Morbius has been delayed and will release on April 1st, it will be exciting to see if this becomes another success for Sony. Also, with Morbius releasing a month before ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ It is all set to have a limited run among the Marvel fans, who are comparatively more hyped about the next chapter of the Multiverse saga.

Sony Pictures is currently expanding its Universe Of Marvel Characters. The company has announced Madame Webb's movie, which is likely to include Spider-Man as well. Currently, Kraven the Hunter movie is in pre-production and set to release in January 2023.
