Netflix has revealed a new full-length trailer for the second season of ‘Alice in Borderland,’ the Japanese-language action, sci-fi, and thriller series. ‘Alice in Borderland’ Season 2 will release on December 22 on Netflix, worldwide.

The trailer shows that the survivors from the first season have been forced to play another round of deadly and even more crazier games. The second season is set in a dystopian world that is more open and includes a variety of places as compared to the first season. In the trailer, Arisu desperately asks, "If we clear all the games, can we return?"

Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) attempt to solve the Borderland mysteries in order to return to the actual world. They encounter allies, rivals, and the genius behind all of the games in a location they believe offers the key to unraveling these mysteries. Arisu and the others face contests that are larger and tougher than the first season. Only the Jack, Queen, and King cards remain in the remaining games, but will they be able to gather them all and return to the real world?

The second season of "Alice in Borderland" follows Arisu and Usagi, who have lost their sense of purpose in life, as they risk their lives in the hope of returning to their world by completing a series of "games" that play different character attributes such as intelligence, strength, and teamwork. Arisu and Usagi must solve Borderland's riddles in order to return to their world. This season shifts from the striking environment of an empty Shibuya in the first season to a damaged Shibuya covered in plants. Don't miss a single second of this survival game filled with strong action and a gripping tale!

In the first season, only ten members survived the deadly games, and all of them are returning for more in season 2. Returning cast includes Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yutaro Watanabe, Tsuyoshi Abe, Sho Aoyagi, and Riisa Naka.

"Alice in Borderland" is based on Haro Aso's graphic novel of the same name. The first season follows Ryohei Arisu, a listless, jobless, and video-game-obsessed young man, who awakens in a weird, deserted version of Tokyo, where he and his friends must compete in deadly games to survive. Arisu encounters Usagi, a young woman, who is navigating the games on her own, in this strange environment. They set out to solve one mystery after another, risking their lives and confronting what it means to live.

The series debuted on December 10, and the first season has 8 episodes. The series currently has 71% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience score is at 91% from 565 reviews, which is way more impressive than many non-English shows that debuted recently. This mega-hit survival drama, directed by Shinsuke Sato and starring Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya, has been eagerly anticipated around the world. The long-awaited continuation of the series that reached the Top 10 in at least 70 countries around the world will release on December 22 on Netflix.
