Netflix Releases Trailer for German Superhero Flick ‘Freaks – You're One of Us’

Netflix has released the first trailer for German, sci-fi, and superhero film “Freaks – You're One of Us”. You can watch the trailer above. The film will arrive on Netflix on September 2.

The trailer shows Cornelia Gröschel's character Wendy realizing that she has supernatural powers, she can make a flying jump, throw and lift heavy things. There are other people as well who have different supernatural powers and Wendy joins them to make a team.

The official synopsis for the film follows, Wendy (Cornelia Gröschel), a young working-class mom, realizes that years of medication have suppressed her latent supernatural powers. She meets a stranger, Marek (Wotan Wilke Möhring), with the same background, and finds out that her co-worker, Elmar (Tim Oliver Schultz), is also similarly gifted. Question is: what will she do with her new powers?

The film stars Cornelia Gröschel,Tim Oliver Schultz, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Nina Kunzendorf, Frederic Linkemann, Finnlay Berger, Gisa Flake, Ralph Herforth and Thelma Buabeng.
