The second season begins with the murder of Ndumiso and it's not been told or shown whether he's killed by Don or Zinhle. The first season of Savage Beauty ended with Zinhle taking her revenge. Don was thought to be dead however the guy was just knocked out.

Ndumiso’s death came as a shock to the family and if the audience watches the scene clearly, it's evident that Don was behind it. Soon, everyone is searching for Zinhle and the poor lady is merely finding a means of survival. Once the face of Benghu Beauty and now a face to be dreaded, life has taken a full circle.

The Benghu family is full of leeches who've made their lives by sucking on others' hard work and blood. This season old foes come to life and encircle this family completely by attacking on all fronts. Richard and Charlie were doubtful characters from the funeral itself as they magically appeared out of nowhere. Charlie inserted herself in Phila’s life and Richard in Grace’s. Why they're attacking Don and his family is revealed later on and the reason leaves you in shock and dismay.

With six episodes, a lot has been told which becomes overwhelming in numerous instances. The plot moves at an alarming speed and all the drama comes at a threshold until it bursts on the screen. The cheap and inhumane things done by Grace and Don are ridiculous. It's not clear until the end whether Grace was a part of Don’s elaborate plans. Earlier the fights between this married couple felt like a mere show of power to establish who'll be the CEO of the company.

Linda and Thando initially were to get married until the latter discovers that she's pregnant with Don’s child. The couple falls apart and if Phila isn't enough for Charlie, she even crawls her way into Linda’s life. After three episodes, the drama felt heavy and all the characters except Linda and Thando appear to be normal. The fans of the first season might find this sequel a tad disappointing and I'm here to solidify their opinions.

Also, Savage Beauty in the first season applied to Zinhle, and the title in this season is dedicated to Charlie. Using her beauty she fooled the Benghu siblings. Grace also failed to resist the charm Richard possessed. The ending of the second season of Savage Beauty is utter chaos and surprising.

Don ruined his family and the things that happened are karma. He took many innocent lives to hide the scam run by his company and had to pay the price of blood by blood. After Ndumiso's death, the old soul had visions and slowly the family scattered.

In my opinion, Savage Beauty Season 2 is heavy on the subject and there are many deaths. Things have become more intense thus leaving the viewers wondering about what the next season will entail (if it's made). The ending is open and Phila left us all surprised.

Final Score – [6.5/10]
