The sixth episode of Only Murders in the Building starts with rounds of guns that were heard on the set and finds out who got heard. Oliver, his onscreen actor, and Glen were targeted. Glen got injured however he's out of danger and now the conclusion is that the podcaster trio is the target. We know that Sazz got killed because the murderer thought that she was Charles, but now it was Oliver, and by doing the maths Mabel might be the next target. The Brothers sisters are the suspects as matching shoe prints were found in Dudenoff’s apartment. This episode is narrated by these sisters and we get to know about their childhood and how their passion for filmography began. Many crucial connections are highlighted, taking us a step forward toward finding who the real killer is.

At first, I thought that the shooting wasn't real and that maybe the Brothers Sisters did it for special effects, to bring out the natural reactions. It turns out that they weren't crazy (they're crazy but not that much). Dudenoff isn't in Portugal which leaves the question about his whereabouts. His character has been shady since the second episode and we might soon receive answers about what he's been up to lately. After the incident, Mabel told the writer of the podcast adaptation about why they think that the Brothers sisters might have done it. There's a lot of repetition you'll see in certain parts and this loop stops when the final confrontation happens.

Howard is seen constantly following the trio and filming them. It was also for safety reasons because if something had to happen, it would have been recorded by the camera. Oliver tries to contact Loretta but she doesn't answer his call and doesn't even hold a proper conversation. After confronting the eye patch guy and the all-year Christmas celebration guy, the trio knows that they aren't safe and need to escape before they're hit by another bullet. Hence, the podcasters flee the building.

In all, we can see the show gaining progress in terms of murder and it won't be long till the murderer is caught. The danger this time is threefold as there are three targets. There were cameras installed in their apartments and the killer is constantly monitoring them. With a total duration of 33 minutes, this episode was intense and had the audience on the edge of their seats. All this happened in the last 10 to 15 minutes and I was unhappy with the time duration. The fourth season of the series is taking its time however it now feels like eternity because the investigation is slow and I don't think that the audience has this much of an attention span. Charles receives texts from Sazz’s cell phone and now we have a bloodthirsty killer on the loose. As there's a camera installed on Gravy (Howard's dog), it also points out that the device will come in handy at some point. With just four episodes remaining, the podcasters need to up their game.

Final Score – [6.5/10]
