`The Hunt (2020)` Movie Review: One of the best insane movies ever made

The Dark humor made the story more thrilling and at the same time, it keeps one gripping for more of it. I already want to watch it again

REVIEW:
The director Craig Zobel and crew brought the best fun entertaining film I have ever watched in a long time. Ever since the trailer was released I was completely intrigued and wow I didn't expect to love it so much. This movie in my opinion just made it be the best movie I have seen this year. Not many can endure this kind of gore and disturbing story but it is within my taste, I loved every second of it and I didn't want the movie to end! A group of people taken and hunted for a reason and that reason was really oblivious straightforward and what fun it was watching it unfold. The killings, the fight scenes were exciting to watch especially the dark humor. This humor made the story more thrilling and at the same time, it keeps one gripping for more of it. I already want to watch it again and again, I can't wait to have it in my collection.

The composer Nathan Barr's music didn't stand out. There are movies where the music makes an equal balance with the story helping each other to be great or the music saves the story but in this case, the music has been just there without effect. Even though it didn't help, what made this film perfect in every way is the female actor Betty Gilpin.

Betty Gilpin was brilliant, love how she projected every single emotion. The character was more than being beautiful and badass, she was weird, disturbed, unpredictable and all of that made her extremely interesting. She made me crazy to yearn more for her performance, every expression she made my gosh was addictively breathtaking! I didn't want the movie to end because of her, I know this kind of movie is not to make a sequel but I wouldn't mind just to watch her performance and to know more about her character.

Final Score: [10/10]
