Marvel Studios has revealed the first teaser trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, which is set to release in theaters on July 8. The new teaser can be found above, along with a poster for the impending intergalactic adventure!
The trailer gives us a first look at Chris Hemsworth becoming part of the Guardians of the Galaxy and going on an adventure as a Ravager. In the trailer, Thor says, "These hands were once used for battle. Now they're but humble tools for peace. I need to figure out exactly who I am. I want to choose my own path. Live in the moment. My Super Hero-ing days are over." The trailer also gives us a first look at Natalie Portman's Jane Foster as Thor, who is wielding Thor's hammer, which was broken in the Ragnarok by Hela.
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) embarks on a journey unlike any he's ever undertaken: a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement is cut short by a galactic assassin known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who desires the annihilation of the gods. To counter the menace, Thor enlists the assistance of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who, to Thor's amazement, wields his mystical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. They embark on a dangerous cosmic adventure together to solve the secret of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late. Below is the poster:

"Thor: Love and Thunder" also stars Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, the main villain in the film, Russell Crowe in the role of Zeus, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Matt Damon as Actor Loki, Akosia Sabet as Bastet God, Melissa McCarthy as Actor Hela, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Simon Russell Beale.
Taika Waititi has directed from a script written by him and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. "Thor: Love and Thunder" is currently expected to release in theaters on July 8, 2022.
In MCU, the Ravagers are an interstellar crime syndicate comprising of thieves, smugglers, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and pirates. There are nearly a hundred factions of Ravagers around the galaxy. One of the factions was led by Yondu. It seems that Thor will join Star-Lord and other members of Guardians of the Galaxy to become a Ravager for a short period of the film. I cannot confirm how or when this happens, but I would guess that Thor might be going on a secret mission with the Ravagers.
