Sony Pictures Announces New Release Date for its upcoming Movies

The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse sequel is now moved to October 7 2022 from earlier release date of April 8, 2022

Sony has announced yet another new wave of release date changes, including moving Connected from 18 September 2020 to October 23, 2020. The studio also revealed new dates for their sequels to Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse sequel is now moved to October 7 2022 from earlier release date of April 8, 2022.

But except the delays, the surprise move came for the Uncharted movie which is now to release early than its schedule. Uncharted movie has been moved from its earlier release date of October 8, 2021 to July 16, 2021. Earlier it was moved from March 5, 2021 to October 8, 2021 after Covid-19 halted the production.

Few days back Sony Pictures also announced the delay for Venom: Let There Be Carnage which will now hit theaters on June 25, 2021. It was originally slated to open October 2, 2020.
