Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the third season of the Turkish-language series ‘The Tailor,’ whose first two seasons premiered earlier this year. ‘The Tailor’ Season 3 will release on November 3, 2023, on Netflix, worldwide.

‘The Tailor’ (Terzi) is inspired by a true story, that follows a famous tailor, who sews a wedding dress for his best friend’s fiancée, but all three have dark secrets that will soon upend their lives.

‘The Tailor’ Season 3 will follow Peyami as his feelings for Esvet intensify, forcing him to make the difficult choice between their love and his lifelong friendship with Dimitri.

In the final episode of Season 2, Kiraz's revelation allows Peyami to embrace his mother since he now understands her situation. Dimitri, on the other hand, receives assistance from his wife, Esvet, who has warmed toward him after observing his battles with childhood trauma. In a brave moment, Dimitri rips out the trunk that his father used to keep him confined. Dimitri sets fire to the wooden trunk in front of his father after smashing it with an ax, establishing that he will no longer be put down by his violent father. Peyami and Dimitri, friends who have corrected the path of their lives, join forces to prepare for the next fashion show. Peyami resolves to accept his history and present on the day of the Peyami Dokumaci Fashion Show. He displays his father in front of the entire audience as an expression of acceptance. His mother, Kiraz, joins his father and son on stage. While Peyami watches on, Kiraz hugs the love of her life, Mustafa, with warmth and affection as the audience applauds.

The Tailor Season 2 ended with a shocking twist, when a vengeful Dimitri tries to kill Peyami using a bomb that could endanger everyone's life in the room, including Dimitri. It may have happened due to the reignited relationship between Peyami and Esvet that seems to have created trouble between Peyami and Dimitri, who feel betrayed by his friend.

The leading cast of the series includes Çağatay Ulusoy as Peyami, Şifanur Gül as Esvet, Salih Bademci as Dimitri, and Olgun Şimşek as Mustafa.

Created by executive producer Onur Güvenatam, the series follows Peyami, who is a famous tailor and has just completed a successful runway show, despite the antics of his crazy best friend, Dimitri. The joy is short-lived, however, as his grandfather's death threatens to expose what he is too humiliated to face. But he isn't the only one hiding the truth: Dimitri is holding his fiancée, Esvet until she flees and adopts another name while working as a caregiver for Peyami's father.

The Tailor Season 2 was released on July 28 while the first season premiered on May 2 this year on Netflix. All three seasons of the series were filmed back to back last year. In our review, we wrote, that The Tailor Season 2 is very literal-minded. It displays a character's comeback through a visual involving him drowning and then swimming upwards. This literal-mindedness also extends to the costumes, as black and white outfits underline that two people are not on the same level. Read the complete The Tailor Season 2 Review.
