Avengers: Doomsday Leaked Footage Goes Viral Online, Marvel Studios in Action

It's the rainy season everywhere, and roofs are leaking in the real world, while in the virtual world, MCU leaks are flooding social media as multiple pieces of footage from Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day have surfaced on X. Although the quality is very bad, they are still spoilers, and Marvel Studios has begun taking action on anyone who shares them, as multiple accounts have already been blocked and suspended for violating copyright rules. While earlier, I thought it might be AI-generated, after copyright strikes on the videos and the accounts sharing them, I believed it to be an authentic leak.

The leaked scene looks like a big battle scene teasing Doom using classic X-Men foes (Sentinels) against a united Avengers + X-Men + Fantastic Four alliance. In the footage, Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) activates Sentinels using green magical/energy effects. He presses his hand to the ground, green smoke/runes appear, and the giant robots rise up with green accents/eyes, implying Doom is controlling them. The footage implies a scene like the Battle of New York as Thor calls Stormbreaker to his hand; Steve Rogers (Chris Evans’ Captain America) summons Mjolnir. A massive hero team-up assembles in classic Russo Brothers style that also includes Sam Wilson, X-Men including Cyclops, Fantastic Four including Reed Richards, The New Avengers including Yelena Belova, while also adding Shang-Chi to the scene. The clip ends with Cyclops blasting as a Sentinel fires its hand cannons. You can watch the clip at the bottom of this article before they take it down.

To date, Marvel has kept the plot of the film under wraps. Apart from revealing a few teasers last year, the studios haven't revealed anything about the film, even the trailer that was unveiled during the Cinemacon a few months back hasn't made it online. This new leak has got the fans very excited, and they are sharing the leaked footage nonstop, even though many accounts have already been suspended.

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo and written by Stephen McFeely, with Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Vanessa Kirby, India Rose Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, James Marsden as Cyclops, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique,, Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, in theaters worldwide. After discussing with multiple people about authenticity of the leaked DoomsDay footage, it matches up with what was shown at CinemaCon.

It is real, it simply has unfinished VFX effects.
