The most awaited trailer for 'Dune' is out now (watch above). The trailer shows some epic scenes and creatures from a planet filled with sand. Warner Bros. has not mentioned any release date in the trailer which means that film might not be out as per schedule. However, we are still assuming that the film will be out in theaters on 18 December 2020.

The film is about a mythic and emotionally charged hero's journey, "Dune" tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence-a commodity capable of unlocking humanity's greatest potential-only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

Last month, the film completed additional shoots in Budapest, Hungary.

Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve (“Arrival,” “Blade Runner 2049”) directs Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Dune,” the big-screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal bestseller of the same name. The film stars Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, and Javier Bardem.

The screenplay is written by Jon Spaihts, Denis Villeneuve, and Eric Roth.

The film is an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic sci-fi of the same name and is planned to be the first of two parts.
