‘Fatal Seduction’ Volume 2 (Season 2) Gets Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Within a month after the first volume or season of ‘Fatal Seduction’ debuted, Netflix revealed the trailer and premiere date for the second season, and it is much sooner than you might have expected. ‘Fatal Seduction’ Volume 2 will release on August 4, 2023, on Netflix, worldwide.

The first volume premiered on July 6th and received not-so-favorable reviews from critics. However, audiences are calling it a captivating thriller and are waiting for the second Volume to hit the platform.

The series comes from creator Steven Pillemer (The Brave Ones) starring Kgomotso Christopher as Nandi Mahlati, Prince Grootboom as Jacob Tau, and Thapelo Mokoena as Nandi’s husband, Leonard Mahlati. The cast also includes Nat Ramabulana as Leonard’s brother, Vuyo Mahlati, Ngele Ramulondi as Leonard and Nandi’s daughter, Zinhle Mahlati, Lunathi Mampofu as Brenda Grootboom, Frances Sholto-Douglas as Laura Goldman, and Rizelle Januk as Ameera Naidoo.

In Fatal Seduction, One married couple finds themselves at the center of a potential murder case. A married woman enters into a passionate affair with a younger guy during a disastrous weekend away, but when the romance ends in tragedy, she begins to question the truth about those closest to her. 

In the first Volume, While grieving a recent miscarriage that has tested her love for her husband, Leonard, Nandi travels out for a weekend away with her closest friend, Brenda. She notices a strange text on his phone – from his young and attractive new assistant, Ameera. Brenda tries to talk reason into Nandi throughout their luxurious vacation, even encouraging her to meet up with a handsome guy they see on the beach. Despite the fact that Jacob is much younger, the two eventually meet and form an instant (and very physical) relationship. Nandi returns home without Brenda the next day, back to the reality of life and her growing concerns about Leonard. But Brenda soon dies, and the case may involve not only another murder but perhaps everyone in Nandi's inner circle.
