Marvel Studios has revealed a new clip of Moon Knight, which for the first time shows Marc Spector's face soaked in blood. The clip is probably a glimpse of what viewers can expect from the upcoming third episode next Wednesday.

The clip begins with Arthur Harrow's voice, "This is the beginning" and shows a blood-soaked Moon Knight with his mask off while Khonshu stands behind him. The clip titled, "Truth," shows some footage of the previous episodes while also adding a new scene where Steven Grant appears to be roaming inside a mental hospital.

The first two episodes of Moon Knight have received a mixed response from the audience. Some have called it the best Marvel series ever, while some have pointed out the goofy British accent and called the show trying to be funnier. Overall, the audience and critics' response has been positive so far, but still, it is lower than other hit Disney+ originals like - Loki, Wandavision, and Hawkeye. But, with four episodes still to go, Marvel is trying to up the ante.

The third episode is likely to explore more about the complicated relationship between the two alters - Steven and Marc. The previous episode saw Marc finally taking over Steven and again not allowing him to come back. But as this clip suggests, Steven is likely to make his return in the next episode.

As per the directors of the show, fans should look out for the fourth episode, which will probably have a big reveal that will take the story in a whole new direction. What this big reveal will be, fans can theorize, but first, they should be excited about episode 3, which could reveal a blood-soaked Moon Knight.

The plot of Moon Knight revolves around Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee who suffers from blackouts and flashbacks to another life. Steven realizes that he suffers from dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies close in on them, they must manage their complicated identities while being plunged into a dangerous mystery among the great gods of Egypt.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Moon Knight, Ethan Hawke as Dr. Arthur Harrow, May Calamawy as Layla, Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart/Midnight Man, and Lucy Thackeray as Donna. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes. Jeremy Slater is the head writer of the series.
