Looks like the season of leaks has arrived. After the first scene of Avengers: Doomsday featuring Chris Evans' return as Steve Rogers leaked yesterday, Spider-Man has arrived full swinging, expressing his love for New York.
Although the leaked video seems unfinished and does not clearly confirm anything, it does tease a few things, including the aftermath of No Way Home and the much-anticipated role of Stranger Things star Sadie Sink. A separate audio leak has also been released, confirming that the original trailer is more than 100 seconds long; however, the hazy leaked video is only 50 seconds long.
The leaked trailer offers a darker and more intense look at Peter Parker’s journey, showing him grappling with the consequences of his powers. Several scenes hint at a more personal and physical struggle, including moments where Peter awakens trapped inside a web-like cocoon. The footage also teases high-stakes action sequences involving confrontations with a mysterious red ninja clan, suggesting the presence of an organized and highly trained enemy force. Adding to the intrigue is the introduction of a boomerang-wielding villain, whose unique fighting style sets them apart from Peter’s usual adversaries. The trailer further connects the story with brief appearances by Bruce Banner and Mac Gargan, shown in a prison uniform, hinting at unresolved conflicts and future threats. Tying these elements together, Sadie Sink’s character seems to be given a commanding presence, delivering threat-filled lines that may establish her as an antagonist in the story.
The leaked teaser begins with the soundtrack, "New York, I Love You, but You're Bringing Me Down," as Tom Holland's Peter says, "Hi, my name is Peter Parker, you don't remember me, but we used to know each other. Something bad is gonna happen, and the only way to stop...."I just need everyone to forget about me. Because I'm not just a Peter Parker."
"Sometimes Spider-Man has to do hard things even if it hurts Peter Parker's heart. I love Spider-Man."
It's not clear from the trailer what role Sadie Sink would be playing, but she can be heard saying, "Stay out of my way. Or else it won't just be your friends who don't know you." Seems to be a line that can only come from a villain, but it could be a misdirection.
Jon Bernthal as The Punisher/Frank Castle has also shown his presence in this leaked audio, where he is interacting with Peter Parker in a tense situation -
Peter: "What are you doing, Frank?"
Frank: "Saving your fucking ass, kid?"
I remember that exactly four years ago, I wrote several articles regarding the leaks of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and all those leaks ultimately led to a huge box office success. Will it happen again? Only time will tell. For now, you can listen and watch the leaked trailer at the bottom of this article. Also, read our Spider-Man: Brand New Day box office hopes and expectations.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 31, 2026. The movie takes place 3 years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, as Peter Parker attempts to forget about Spider-Man and concentrate on his studies. But when a new threat threatens his pals, he must violate his oath and suit up again, this time with an unlikely ally, to protect people he cares about.
