Disney Plus has hinted at its programming schedule for this fall and has surprised many fans with WandaVision still on track as planned, for the December premiere.

And now, we have got more news for you regarding the Disney plus programming and their plans to keep their subscribers busy.

According to our friendly source, WandaVision will premiere on Christmas Day that is the 25th of December, just next week after The Mandalorian Season 2 finale. Our friend also hinted that Disney plus is falling behind from its competition in comparison to original shows and series. So far, The Mandalorian is the only mainstream series that has premiered on the streamer since its launch.

We understand that Disney Plus is now planning to keep at least one mainstream show airing its episode every week, starting with The Mandalorian Season 2.

WandaVision, which was earlier supposed to have six episodes of 60-minutes each, will now have nine episodes of 40-minutes each. The Marvel Studios series will run for nine weeks starting December. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will probably be the next to follow in March 2021.

The strategy of one episode per week is much fruitful for streamers than dropping all the episodes at once. For Disney plus, this tactic is very crucial as they don't have a long list of shows like Netflix to convince the audience to keep the subscription. Netflix can afford to drop all the episodes on a single day since they have at least one new series/season to premiere each week.

However, we do not have any concrete info, which show will be the first to follow after The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (probably Loki). But, we can assure you that there is a long list of Marvel and Star Wars shows which have already announced, and some are in early talks like- Marvel Inhumans Reboot, a new Star-Wars series, and a fresh X-men reboot.

Created by Jac Schaeffer, WandaVision is a limited TV-Series Spinoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe featuring the characters Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff and The Vision. It stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision.
