Netflix Announces ‘Tiger King 2’ Along With Four Other Real Crime Documentaries

Netflix has revealed its upcoming slate of documentaries focussing on real crimes. Among these, the streamer surprised everyone by announcing part two of the Hit documentary series, Tiger King, which was supposed to be a limited one-season series. Tiger King 2 will be released on November 17 on Netflix.

The global hit Tiger King attracted 64 million households in the first four weeks after its March 2020 premiere. The sequel or second part/season will return this year to Netflix for more madness and mayhem.

Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are the directors for Tiger King 2. Goode and Chaiklin are also exec. producers alongside Chris Smith and Fisher Stevens. Goode Films Production in association with Library Films and Article 19 Films are producing.

The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman -- Series Premieres in January 2022

Coming from the acclaimed filmmakers behind The Imposter, this three-part series explores the incredible story of one of the world's most daring conmen, who was convicted in 2005 of stealing fortunes and wrecking many lives. But now, in an incredible twist, the story reaches into the present day, with a desperate family who fears for their mother's safety.

Sam Benstead and Gareth Johnson are the directors. Bart Layton and Rebecca North are exec. producing the series for RAW.

The Tinder Swindler -- Film Premieres in February 2022

The Tinder Swindler is the incredible true story of a prolific conman who posed as a wealthy playboy on Tinder and the ladies who set out to bring him down.

Felicity Morris has directed the film. Bart Layton and Sam Starbuck serve as exec. producers for RAW along with Jeff Gaspin and Eric Levy for Gaspin Media; Stuart Ford and Lourdes Diaz for AGC Studios.

Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King -- Film Premieres in 2022

The film follows a group of investors turned sleuths as they attempt to solve the mysterious death of a cryptocurrency multimillionaire Gerry Cotten, and the missing $250 million they suspect he stole from them.

Director by Luke Sewell, Sophie Jones, and Morgan Matthews serves as exec. producers for Minnow Films.

Bad Vegan -- Series Premieres in 2022

The series follows Celebrity restaurateur Sarma Melngailis, who becomes the “Vegan Fugitive” after being duped out of millions by a man who convinces her that he can expand her food empire and make her beloved pit bull immortal -- as long as she never questions his increasingly bizarre requests.
