An action, adventure, and fantasy animated series set in the ancient Greek period that officially debuted in 2020 tells the story of a young man who is the demigod son of Zeus. The first season of Blood of Zeus did quite well, even though it didn't get the same kind of attention as other Japanese anime series. Despite being an American animated series, Blood of Zeus didn't fail to showcase one of the best characters with a good plotline.

After the first season was over, I was waiting for the second season because many things, or, I can say, questions, were left unanswered. But it's a good thing that the anime series now has a second season and is out on Netflix. I was very happy to see that the first season and the second season both had the same number of episodes, which kind of saved my time.

In the second season, Heron has become more powerful, and the character of Heron seems more attractive than that of the first season. What made me more invested in the second season was that it was more interesting than the first season. The plotline was developed at a perfect pace, and the animation part of the action scenes deserves a lot of praise.

The animated series can't be criticized much because it involves compelling elements of Greek mythology. It focuses on Greek mythology and features giants, gods, titans, mythological mounts, and more that are inspired by the original tales.

Another interesting part of the overall series is that it is about Greek tales. As I love to explore and understand Greek mythology and its ancient times, Blood of Zeus gave me an insight into the epic period of Greece. The second season started at a good pace, and the story was developing in every episode. Heron is back with another big responsibility, and he is still trying his best to protect himself and the realm after learning his real identity.

This time the series also introduced new characters, and the first three episodes were focused on telling the backstory and introducing new characters. But what made the second season kind of draggy was its plot issues and the cliffhanger that was shown at the end of the last episode.

Apart from all these little issues, the series still managed to pull off a good and well-written plot for its second season. I am also expecting a third season, as the second season's ending sparks the potential of the next season. Are we going to wait for another three years for the second season of Blood of Zeus?

Well, I am genuinely curious about the third season and what will be shown there. Unfortunately, there's no information about the third season. Have you seen the first season of Blood of Zeus? If you have seen it, then are you planning to watch it? Do share your views with us.

Final Score- [9/10]
