Netflix Renews ‘The Victims’ Game’ for Season 2

Netflix has renewed the Chinese language Netflix original series ‘The Victims’ Game’ for a second season with the original production team, led by award-winning producers Hank Tseng and Phil Tang of Greener Grass Production.

The Victims' Game Season 2 marks the global streaming brand’s first renewal of original Chinese language production. The new season is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2022.

“From script to screen we are proud to have created The Victims’ Game as an entirely original IP from Taiwan,” said Tseng and Tang. “This renewal with Netflix is a milestone for the local entertainment industry to set foot on the global stage. It is time to unleash the limitless potential of original stories from Taiwan. After its global premiere on April 30th this year, The Victims’ Game has received raving reviews from fans and industry accolades, including eight nominations from the 55th Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan, making it one of the frontrunners in the prestigious awards.

The drama-thriller stars Hsiao-chuan Chang, Tsai-Hsing Chang, and Wei-Ning Hsu.
