Netflix Reveals Trailer for Turkish Original ‘The Gift’ Season 3

Season 3 will resume 8 years after where season 2 left off, the final season coming on June 17

Netflix has released the first trailer (watch above) for season 3 of Turkish Original and supernatural-Drama series “The Gift” also originally titled "Atiye". Season 3 episodes will be released on June 17th, worldwide.

Season 3 which also the final season will resume 8 years after season 2 left off as Seeking to reach her daughter Aden, Atiye faces a wrenching dilemma as dark forces attempt to harness Aden's cosmic powers to bring about destruction.

The show stars Beren Saat, who will return as Atiye in season 3. Other Cast members includes Mehmet Günsür, Metin Akdülger, Melisa Senolsun, Basak Köklükaya, Civan Canova, Tim Seyfi and Meral Çetinkaya.

Season 2, which premiered back in September 2020 saw Atiye reckoning with a different world as she races against time to realize her destiny as the mysterious syndicate behind Serdar threatens the future.

“The Gift” follows the life of Atiye who is a young and beautiful painter and leads the perfect life in Istanbul; she has a loving family, a wealthy and lovable boyfriend, and to top it all off, she is about to open her first solo exhibition. But her perfect life is about to change with a discovery made in the most ancient temple on Earth, Göbekli Tepe. An archeologist named Erhan, discovers a symbol in the ruins, a symbol that connects Atiye to Göbekli Tepe in a very mysterious way. And now, Atiye will turn her life upside down and spark a quest to discover the secrets of her past, secrets hidden within those ancient ruins.

Netflix pre-ordered 2 seasons at once when they announced the deal with Turkey’s OG Medya back in 2019 and it became the second supernatural drama based in Turkey after “The Protector.” Season 3 was ordered soon after season 2 premiered.

The series is produced by British producer Alex Sutherland with Turkey’s OG Medya.
