Netflix ‘Transformers: War for Cybertron’ has 7 New Posters

Netflix has released a total of 7 new posters for its upcoming anime series Transformers War For Cybertron: Siege online.

"We will win this war," is the tagline for all these posters. The posters focus on the, Optimus Prime, Megatron, team of autobots Elita-1, Bumblebee, Ultra Magnus, Jetfire and Decepticon known as Starscream.

Ultra Magnus is a well-respected Autobot who is a great friend/mentor to Optimus Prime. Starscream is one of the most popular figures in the Transformers mythos, best known for second-in-command of Megatron as leader of the Decepticons. Jetfire aka Skyfire is a scientist who was a friend of Starscream worked with him before the war. Originally found by the Decepticons on Earth, Jetfire eventually joined the Autobots. Elita-1 is a devoted Autobot and powerful warrior, fearless in the face of the enemy, but compassionate to those who need her help. And of course we all know about Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee.

 

Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege will focus on the war between the Decepticons and the Autobots, with the former having control over the planet. The anime series is supoosed to be a triology and Netflix has already acquired the rights for all three seasons.

Netflix also released a new trailer clip for the series which focused on "We will win this war", check it out below:

 

The new trailer is described as "It is the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. In an attempt to end the conflict, Megatron is forced to consider using the Allspark, the source of all life and power on Cybertron, to “reformat” the Autobots, thus “unifying” Cybertron. Outnumbered, outgunned, and under SIEGE, the battle-weary Autobots orchestrate a desperate series of counterstrikes on a mission that, if everything somehow goes right, will end with an unthinkable choice: kill their planet in order to save it."

 

Developed by Rooster Teeth Studios, Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege features the voice talents of Jake Foushee as Optimus Prime, Jason Marnocha as Megatron, Linsay Rousseau as Elita-1, Joe Zieja as Bumblebee, Frank Todaro as Starscream, Rafael Goldstein as Ratchet, Keith Silverstein as Jetfire, Todd Haberkorn as Shockwave & Red Alert , Edward Bosco as Ultra Magnus & Soundwave, Bill Rogers as Wheeljack, Sophia Isabella as Arcee, Brook Chalmers as Impactor, Shawn Hawkins as Mirage, Kaiser Johnson as Ironhide, Miles Luna as Teletraan I & Cliffjumper and Mark Whitten as Sideswipe & Skywarp.

 

Check out the full trailer below which was released back in February, The series will arrive on Netflix July 30.
