HBO Max has revealed the first trailer (watch above) and premiere date for the second season of ‘Raised by Wolves.’ Created by Aaron Guzikowski, ‘Raised by Wolves’ Season 2 will release on February 3, 2022, on HBO Max.
The teaser begins with Mother saying, "Androids can change, just like human beings. Come along, children. Our new home awaits." The teaser also confirms that Travis Fimmel's Marcus has a much bigger role to play in the second season. In his first appearance in the teaser, Marcus says, "We are the last Mithraic, and we are gonna bring purity to this planet. I am invincible."
In Season 2 of the sci-fi series, Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), together with their family of six human children, join a newly founded atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b's strange tropical zone. But navigating this odd new civilization is only the beginning of their problems, as Mother's "natural child" threatens to push the human species to extinction.
The filming on the second season completed production in August this year as we exclusively reported. Also, we can exclusively confirm that ‘Raised by Wolves’ Season 2 has only eight episodes, unlike the first season of 10 episodes.
Season 2 has also added some new faces to its cast. Peter Christoffersen as Cleaver, Kim Engelbrecht as Decima, Selina Jones as Grandmother, James Harkness as Tamerlane, Morgan Santo as Vrille, and Jennifer Saayeng as Nerva has joined the second season of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi drama Raised by Wolves.
In the season one finale, A deranged Marcus assassinates an Atheist scouting unit as an Atheist ship arrives. The father and mother tried to commit suicide with the mother's snake-like child to safeguard their human children. They collide on the other side of the planet, in what appears to be the planet's Tropical Zone, and the fast-growing snake baby flees and flies away.
The first season of Raised by Wolves stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong, and Vikings star Travis Fimmel. Scott's Ridley Scott Creative Group Productions is behind the show, and executive producers include Scott, Guzikowski, Adam Kolbrenner, David W. Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, and Mark Huffam.
