REVIEW:
The director Tony Cervone and crew brought a cute animated movie. I like the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! animated television series but I'm not a fan like most and I wasn't excited about this reboot. I changed my mind when the teaser trailer was released, it really looked so good and I gave it a chance. It wasn't what I expected they wanted to really reboot, the problem was that it went to a different route and it didn't capture the essence of the classic.

There are some hardcore fans that will not welcome this reboot but even with details changed it was still entertaining. If one doesn't compare to the classic, the movie can be enjoyed and the new generation will love it. The design looked fantastically fresh, although in some scenes it kind of looked odd. The story was a beautiful introduction to the main characters' friendship, Shaggy, and Scooby. The adventure-mystery storyline was very bumpy but the humor did make up for what was missing and this animated reboot is way better than the live-action film versions.

The composer Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) let me down because he is so magnificent and I expected more from him even though it is an animated movie, he could have pulled off greatness and yet he didn't.

The movie had a great voice cast, even though one needs time to get used to these new voices they still felt well suited to their own characters.

Final Score: [6/10]
