Netflix has revealed the first teaser trailer (watch above) and premiere date for the Sherlock Holmes spin-off series ‘The Irregulars.’ The series which focuses on supernatural cases will premiere on March 26 on Netflix worldwide.

Set in Victorian London, the series follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Doctor Watson and his mysterious business partner, the elusive Sherlock Holmes. As the crimes take on a horrifying supernatural edge and a dark power emerges, it'll be up to the Irregulars to come together to save not only London but the entire world.

Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, it features the 221B Baker Street Irregulars working for Dr. Watson saving London from supernatural elements.

Netflix also unveiled the first look images from the series.

Writer Tom Bidwell (who had helmed Netflix's Watership Down) described the program as "my dream project and my oldest idea" and it takes a different view of Holmes and his relationship to the Irregulars.

"Sherlock Holmes had a group of street kids he’d use to help him gather clues, so our series is what if Sherlock was a drug addict and a delinquent and the kids solve the whole case whilst he takes credit."

The cast of the series includes Henry Lloyd-Hughes as Sherlock Holmes, Royce Pierreson as Dr. Watson, Clarke Peters as Linen Man, Thaddea Graham as Bea, Darci Shaw as Jessie, Jojo Macari as Billy, McKell David as Spike, Harrison Osterfield as Leopold. Sheila Atim, and Aidan McArdle as Lestrade.

The program was announced and filmed in the UK, with Endeavour’s Johnny Allan as lead director.
