Apple TV+ and Universal Pictures have revealed the first trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s Spy Thriller ‘Argylle,’ which has a star-studded cast. ‘Argylle’ will be released on February 2, 2024, in theaters, worldwide, followed by its Apple TV+ release a few weeks later.
The trailer begins with Henry Cavill's titular character and John Cena going against Dua Lipa's character who surrounds him with a lot of thugs with guns at a dance party. The trailer shows various action-packed sequences involving John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Sam Rockwell. The trailer also shows other actors including Samuel L. Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Sofia Boutella, and Catherine O’Hara.
“Argylle” follows the globe-trotting adventures of super-spy Argylle across the U.S., London, and other exotic locations, featuring a star-studded, award-winning cast including Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, “Argylle” is based on a script written by Jason Fuchs. The film is produced by Cloudy Productions and Vaughn’s regular collaborators Adam Bohling and David Reid, as well as Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fishbach serve as executive producers.
‘Argylle,' based on Ellie Conway's upcoming novel of the same name, follows the globe-trotting adventures of a super-spy named Argylle across the United States, London, and other exotic locations.
Vaughn's MARV films have already got plans to make a movie trilogy of this franchise.
