Sony Pictures has revealed the first trailer for the action-comedy movie BULLET TRAIN. Directed by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch and starring Brad Pitt in the leading role, Bullet Train will release in theaters on July 15, worldwide.

The trailer begins with Brad Pitt and Brian Tyree Henry facing off while sitting inside a Bullet Train in Japan. The trailer shows a lot of action scenes against a group of Japanese Assassins and Samurai warriors, which seem to be a high budget at first glance.

Bullet Train is an original movie event, which is a fun, delirious action-thriller from the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch. Brad Pitt headlines an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins – all with connected yet conflicting objectives – set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern-day Japan.

Brad Pitt is coming from an Oscar-winning performance in the Quentin Tarantino-directed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in which he played stuntman Cliff Booth. Pitt is also starring in Damien Chazelle's movie “Babylon” along with Emma Stone which will release in January 2023.

Bullet Train also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Michael Shannon, and Benito A Martínez Ocasio.

Zak Olkewicz has written the screenplay for this film based on the Japanese NOVEL titled “Maria Beetle” by mystery fiction author Kotaro Isaka. Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada of CTB Inc., who represent Isaka and the IP, are Executive Producers of Bullet Train. Harvill Secker has separately published the novel “Bullet Train” in English.

Leitch and Kelly McCormick have produced “Bullet Train” through their company 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick. Brittany Morrissey is the executive who has overseen the movie for Sony Pictures.
