Netflix has revealed a new extended trailer for“Cobra Kai” season 4. The fourth season of “Cobra Kai” will release on December 31 on Netflix worldwide, which is also New Year's Eve.

In Season 4, the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos team together to defeat Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament... and whoever loses must hang up their gi. As Samantha and Miguel fight to keep the dojo alliance together and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the Valley's situation has never been more perilous. What gimmicks does Kreese have in his arsenal? Can Daniel and Johnny put their decades-long feud behind them in order to beat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the valley's face of karate?

Season 3 of “Cobra Kai” arrived this year on January 1st, New Year's Day, and it's not a coincidence that Netflix is ending the year with the same show that started it. So, technically 2021 is Cobra Kai's year at Netflix. “Cobra Kai” has already been renewed for Season 5, which is currently filming.

The trailer revealed that the All Valley Karate Tournament will be the main focus of the fourth season. Cobra Kai was teasing this since season 3 arrived and finally, it's happening now. The teaser shows our Karate warriors training to fight and defend what they call “the soul of the valley is on the line.”

Remember that Cobra Kai took only 60 days to complete production on the entire fourth season, which is one of the fastest TV productions I have ever seen, owing to the fact that there would be a lot of fights and action rather than dialogues and chemistry.

Dupree Young and Oona O'Brien are a couple of characters, who have joined the cast in season 4. Season 3 was one of the most-watched shows on Netflix. Netflix renewed the series for a fourth season in October 2020. The show, which is based on the film franchise The Karate Kid and produced by Sony Pictures Television, debuted on YouTube Premium before heading to Netflix for its third season.

Written by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg's production company Counterbalance Entertainment, executive produced Cobra Kai. Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett Smith also executive produced along with Susan Ekins. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are co-executive producers.

Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan,  Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, and Peyton List also stars in “Cobra Kai.” Tamlyn Tomita and Yuji Okumoto will also appear.
