Netflix has revealed a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 5, which shows the No Mercy battle spreading through the whole valley. The fifth season of “Cobra Kai” will release on September 9 on Netflix worldwide.

The trailer begins with LaRusso giving an overview of his current situation to Chozen Toguchi played by Yuki Okumoto. LaRusso tells, "This is what we're up against. This is how everyone sees him, as some kind of philanthropist out to save the kids of the valley, Terry Silver, as he plans to expand Cobra Kai in his style after winning the grand champion trophy at the All Valley Tournament. The trailer reveals a conflict between Miguel and Robby, and Johnny is trying to resolve it.

The trailer also shows John Kreese spending his time behind the wars as Terry Silver calls upon some old friends to become new senseis at his expanded Dojo. The battle is getting intense, and the war is getting bigger as Cobra Kai becomes more about rivalry than karate.

In Season 5, Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and attempting to make his "No Mercy" style of karate the only game in town following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament. With Kreese imprisoned behind the bars and Johnny Lawrence putting karate aside to focus on fixing the damage he's caused, Daniel LaRusso must call for the help of an old friend.

The fourth season saw the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos team together to defeat Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament... and whoever loses must hang up their gi. As Samantha and Miguel fight to keep the dojo alliance together and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the Valley's situation has never been more perilous. The season ended with Cobra Kai winning the grand champion trophy and Miyagi-Do with a male championship.

Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O'Brien joined the cast in season 4, which was one of the most-watched shows on Netflix. The show, which is based on the film franchise The Karate Kid and produced by Sony Pictures Television, debuted on YouTube Premium before heading to Netflix for its third season.

Courtney Henggeler, William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Thomas Ian Griffith, Martin Kove, Griffin Santopietro, Yuji Okumoto. Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, and Peyton List are returning for “Cobra Kai” Season 5.
