We broke the News few days back that a new Crysis might be on the way and now Crytek has officially confirmed that Crysis Remastered is on the way. A release date hasn't been announced, but the now-updated website at crysis.com says it's "coming soon."
The website blurb reads: "Crytek’s ground-breaking, critically acclaimed first person shooter is back! Crysis Remastered is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – the game's debut on a Nintendo platform."
The official account of Crysis also tweeted this news along with a teaser:

Crytek has officially announced Crysis Remastered for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This means the remastered is the first Crysis game to appear on a Nintendo console.
Co-developed by Saber Interactive, Crysis Remastered features improved graphics and optimizations for current-gen consoles. This includes high-quality textures, improved art assets, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, and particle effects (where applicable). There will even be software-based ray tracing.
There's no release date yet for Crysis Remastered but the teaser says that it will be 'coming soon.' Below is the teaser for Crysis Remastered:
