Paramount has revealed the full-length trailer and premiere date for the sci-fi series ‘Halo’ during the AFC Championship game on Sunday. The small-screen adaptation of the Microsoft video game of the same name will release on March 24 on Paramount+. The show is also expected to release on Netflix and Prime Video in a few countries outside the US.

In the trailer, Natascha McElhone’s Dr. Halsey says, "The Master Chief was enhanced and trained for one purpose: to win this war. He and the other Spartans are our only effective weapons against the covenant.”

The trailer also reveals our first look at Arbiter and live Cortana, an AI portrayed by Jen Taylor, who has also voiced the character in the video games.

Halo is set to follow an epic struggle between humans and an alien threat known as the Covenant in the 26th century. Halo will intertwine carefully developed personal storylines with action, adventure, and a vividly envisioned futuristic vision.

Halo has been reportedly renewed for the second season last month, however, Showrunner Steve Kane has been confirmed to exit the series after the first season.

The cast of the series also includes Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a towering supersoldier known as a "Spartan." Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes; Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes; Charlie Murphy as Makee; Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066; Shabana Azmi is playing Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Director of ONI; Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha; Kate Kennedy as Kai-125; Natasha Culzac as Riz-028; Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134.

Created and written by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, they also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers for the sci-fi show. The series is also executive produced by Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television in partnership with 343 Industries. Otto Bathurst and Toby Leslie are also exec producing for One Big Picture, along with Scott Pennington for Chapter Eleven and Karen Richards. Steven Spielberg, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O'Connor, and Bonnie Ross are also executive producers.
