Sci-Fi Series ‘Halo’ Renewed for Season 2 at Paramount+ [Exclusive]

Based on the video game of the same, Halo TV Series will follow Master Chief also known as Spartan. The first season will arrive in 2022

The upcoming sci-fi series and video game adaptation, ‘Halo’ has been renewed for the second season before its Season 1 premiere in 2022 on Paramount Plus.


The 10-episode Halo Season 1 will release on Paramount Plus in 2022. The show will also premiere on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in different territories. The first season reportedly has a budget of an estimated $200 million.


The first season of the series is still filming and going through some reshoots. It is expected to wrap up production in January 2022. The show has already received one teaser trailer (watch at the bottom) a few weeks back and the new full-length trailer arrived during the Game Awards (watch above).


Halo is set to follow an epic struggle between humans and an alien threat known as the Covenant in the 26th century. Halo will intertwine carefully developed personal storylines with action, adventure, and a vividly envisioned futuristic vision.


Pablo Schreiber is leading the series as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a towering supersoldier known as a "Spartan." Natascha McElhone is playing Dr. Catherine Halsey, a scientist for the UNSC and creator of the Spartan-II Project. Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes; Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes; Jen Taylor is voicing Cortana, an artificial intelligence; Charlie Murphy as Makee; Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066; Shabana Azmi is playing Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Director of ONI; Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha; Kate Kennedy as Kai-125; Natasha Culzac as Riz-028; Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134.


Created and written by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, they also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers for the sci-fi show. The series is also executive produced by Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television in partnership with 343 Industries. Otto Bathurst and Toby Leslie are also exec producing for One Big Picture, along with Scott Pennington for Chapter Eleven and Karen Richards. Steven Spielberg, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O'Connor, and Bonnie Ross are also executive producers.
