‘Hanna’ Season 3 Has Finished Filming, Set to Premiere in 2021 [Exclusive]

“Hanna” season 3 is all set to arrive later this year, as the filming has already concluded last month. The show started shooting in the second week of February in Prague, Czech Republic this year and completed the filming in April's third week.

According to a production support studio behind the series production, the action-packed “Hanna” Season 3 is all set to premiere in November this year (Confirmed on Sep. 16). The trailer and official premiere date will be announced on October 9.

“Hanna” Season 3 is currently in post-production.

This news comes as a big surprise for the fans who were probably not expecting a new season until 2022, even we also assumed that season 3 might be premiering next year as the production was delayed. Hanna season 2 was released on Amazon Prime Video on July 3, 2020. The series was renewed for season 3 just 10 days after the release of the second season.

Last year in the same time slot (October), the second season of the superhero series ‘The Boys’ premiered. Season 3 production of ‘The Boys’ started with a delay, which has pushed its premiere to 2022.

The series follows the journey of an extraordinary young woman played by Esmé Creed-Miles, who is on the run from a sinister government agency and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is. The series is based on the Joe Wright 2011 film.

David Farr, who co-wrote the original feature, has written and executive produced season 3 as well.

“Hanna” also stars Yasmin Monet Prince, Dermot Mulroney, Anthony Welsh, Áine Rose Daly, and Gianna Kiehl.

At the end of the first season, Hanna found out she is not the only young woman with skills like hers that came out of the Utrax program. In the latest season, she risks her freedom to rescue her friend Clara (Yasmin Monet Prince) from the Utrax program at their new facility, The Meadows which is run by John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) and his right-hand man Leo Garner (Anthony Welsh). Hanna finds help in the unlikely form of her previous nemesis, CIA agent Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos), who must protect both herself and Hanna from the ruthless organization she once trusted.
