Marvel Studios has revealed another trailer for the upcoming MCU series, “Hawkeye.” Disney Plus has also confirmed the no. of episodes and release schedule for the series. The first two episodes of “Hawkeye” will release on November 24 on Disney Plus, worldwide.

“Hawkeye” will premiere on November 24 with two episodes and the rest of four episodes will arrive every Wednesday till the finale on December 22. The series will be the first in MCU to introduce the Young Avengers.

Below is the weekly release schedule for all six episodes:

Episode 1: November 24

Episode 2: November 24

Episode 3: December 1

Episode 4: December 8

Episode 5: December 15

Episode 6/Finale: December 22

The trailer reveals Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Kate Bishop, who will follow the path of Hawkeye played by Jeremy Runner. The trailer also teases Yelena Belova hunting Clint Barton/Hawkeye as she considers him responsible for the death of her sister Natasha Romanoff.

At the beginning of the trailer (watch below), Lila Barton says, "This is the first Christmas we've had together in years." "I love you guys.  I'm making up for some lost time," replies Clint Barton. The trailer moves on as the newscaster introduces Kates Bishop saying "Authorities are wondering if the masked vigilante, who terrorized the city's underworld, is back."  The trailer also hints at Yelena Belova when Clint says, "The past has caught up with me."

The official plot of the series is yet to be revealed, but it is very likely to be a "Black Widow" kind of story, which will explore the origin of Kate Bishop in the present time following the events of Avengers Endgame. It will also follow Bishop becoming Hawkeye, which means Jeremy Renner's character Hawkeye/Clint Barton might depart from MCU.

The late November premiere of the series also contradicts the latest statement given by Marvel executive Victoria Alonso, who confirmed that Ms. Marvel will also premiere later this year. Now, the chances are very low of Ms. Marvel coming this year as it will again contradict the system maintained by Disney Plus of only one premium series at a time.

Jeremy Renner reprises his long-time role as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, with Hailee Steinfeld stepping into the role as Kate Bishop. Florence Pugh also returns as her character of Yelena Belova from the "Black Widow" movie.

Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Brian d'Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, round out the cast of the original Marvel Studios series. Hawkeye is directed by Rhys Thomas along with duo Bert and Bertie from a script written by Jonathan Igla and Katrina Mathewson. Vincent D’Onofrio is also rumored to reprise his role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin from the Daredevil series. He is expected to debut in episode 5.
