‘Hunters’ Season 2 Gets First Look and Release Date, Amazon Confirms Its the Final Season

Amazon has revealed the premiere date and the first look of the second season of action-thriller ‘Hunters’ via EW. ‘Hunters’ Season 2 will release on January 13, 2023, on Prime Video.

Along with revealing the premiere date, Amazon also confirmed that the second season of Hunters will also be its last. So ‘Hunters’ is officially coming to an end with Season 2 early next year.

In the second season set in 1979, two years after the first season, the dictator - Adolf Hitler, played by German actor Udo Kier, will have a growing presence on the show as the titular band of hunters scour the globe to wipe him out once and for all.

The first look images confirm the return of Al Pacino as Meyer Offerman, Kate Mulvany as Sister Harriet, Josh Radnor as Lonny Flash, Tiffany Boone as Roxy Jones, Jerrika Hinton as Millie Morris, Greg Austin as Travis, Jennifer Jason Leigh as Nazi-hunter Chava, and Logan Lerman as Jonah Heidelbaum.

Set in an alternate history where Hitler is alive, “Hunters” follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the United States. The first season starred Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin.

The series is created by David Weil, who also serves as executive producer and co-showrunner along with Nikki Toscano. Jordan Peele executive produces along with Win Rosenfeld under their Monkeypaw Productions banner. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed the pilot episode and is also an executive producer. Nelson McCormick executive produces along with Sonar Entertainment’s David Ellender. Amazon Studios is the production company behind the series along with Monkeypaw and Sonar.
