‘Inside the Mind of a Dog’ Netflix Review - Get to Know Your Pals Better

The Netflix Documentary, Inside the Mind of a Dog, takes us through various developments that have been made in the field of understanding dogs better. Starting from their origins to how today they're being used in fields to fit people's needs, the documentary is an all-in-one package. Having a time span of 75 minutes, various interviews with the pet trainers and veterinarians have also been included. However, the second half is majorly taken up by how these dogs are trained to aid people with disabilities.

The documentary shows how dog owners can learn to read their emotions by noticing small things like the wagging of their tails. A detailed explanation of their every reaction has been given and the systematic presentation makes you keep on watching it. How can someone resist themselves after seeing these cute souls? So many beautiful videos have been included, some are even viral Instagram reels that you might've come across. Documentaries like these will prove instrumental for the owners to be a great companions for their dogs.

There are many institutions that have been opened up for dogs that specialize in training them. The concept of training the dogs for humans with special needs is a great deed as many can benefit from this enrollment. It's shown how there are phases of training and how every dog reacts differently to different situations. The most important phase however remains the bonding phase. A potential owner should be good at communication so that the partnership goes a long way. The importance of how a dog should be healthy and not overweight owing to the latter resulting in shortening the lifespan caught my attention.

In all, this documentary has shed enough light to educate the public. It goes without saying that you should watch it once. As the duration is also small, there's no issue of over-telling the facts by the makers. Inside the Mind of a Dog takes its sweet time to build up the concept. There are many things that you might not know including how things work for dogs.
