Korean Series ‘Our Blues’ Gets Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has revealed the trailer for the upcoming Korean-language series, Our Blues. The first episode of the Korean Romantic Drama will premiere on April 9 on Netflix, worldwide, and on tvN in South Korea.


After the first episode on Saturday, the second episode will be available on Sunday, April 10. Every week two new episodes will be available to watch in this 20-episode series. 


"Our Blues" follows a group of people on the island of Jeju. Lee Dong-Seok (Lee Byung-Hun) grew up in a small village on the island of Jeju. On the island, he now sells stuff from his truck. He is not a well-educated individual. Lee Dong-Seok then falls in love with Min Sun-A (Shin Min-A), who has recently relocated to Jeju. She has a unique story that no one knows about.


Choi Han-Soo (Cha Seung-Won) was born and reared on Jeju Island before relocating to the mainland. He is presently back in his hometown.  He is a perfect city man. He meets his first love Jung Eun-Hee  (Lee Jung-Eun). She owns and operates a fishing store on the island. She is friend of Go Mi-Ran (Uhm Jung-Hwa). Go Mi-Ran left the difficult city life behind and returned to her homeland of Jeju.


Lee Young-Ok (Han Ji-Min), who just relocated to Jeju Island, has been a haenyeo (female diver) for one year. She is a clever person, yet she is followed by rumors. Park Jung-Joon (Kim Woo-Bin), a ship captain, meets her. He is a warm-hearted man looking for a woman who will not leave Jeju. He develops feelings for Lee Young-Ok.


The cast of the series includes Lee Byung-Hun as Lee Dong-Seok, Shin Min-A as Min Sun-A, Cha Seung-Won as Choi Han-Soo, Bae Hyun-Sung as Jung Hyun, Lee Jung-Eun as Jung Eun-Hee, Han Ji-Min as Lee Young-Ok, Kim Woo-Bin as Park Jung-Joon, Kim Hye-Ja as Kang Ok-Dong, Uhm Jung-Hwa as Go Mi-Ran, Ko Du-Shim as Hyun Chun-Hee, Ki So-Yu as Son Eun-Ki, Roh Yoon-Seo as Bang Young-Joo, Park Ji-Hwan as Bang Young-Joo's father, Choi Young-Joon as Jung Hyun's father, Park Jung-Eon as private institute instructor, and Kim Kwang-Kyu.
