Disney Plus has released the first trailer for its Holiday Special LEGO “Star Wars.” The 45-minute special film will arrive on November 17 at Disney Plus.

The trailer features almost all of the Star Wars characters, we can see Baby Yoda as well as Old Yoda in the trailer. It also shows Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewbacca, Rose and their droids, Mandalorian, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Emperor Palpatine.

“The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special” reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose, and the droids as they celebrate Life Day, a joyous celebration on Chewie’s home planet of Kashyyyk that was first introduced in the 1978 “Star Wars Holiday Special.” Set after the events of 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” the new Star Wars special follows Rey as she sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?

The upcoming LEGO version is loosely inspired by the universally panned special that aired on CBS over 40 years ago. The 1978 TV movie picked up after 1977’s “Star Wars: A New Hope” and featured the original “Star Wars” cast: Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, and Peter Mayhew.

In addition to bringing back characters from across the franchise, “Stars Wars” actors Kelly Marie Tran, Billy Dee Williams, and Anthony Daniels will reprise their roles as Rose Tico, Lando Calrissian, and C-3PO, respectively. Joining the voice cast are “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” actors Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (clone troopers).

“LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special” was directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne, who also served as executive producer. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert, and Keith Malone also executive produced.
