Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the Romantic-Comedy movie, ‘Love in the Villa.’ Starring Kat Graham and Tom Hopper, ‘Love in the Villa’ will release on September 1 on Netflix, worldwide.

Directed and written by Mark Steven Johnson, the film follows a young woman (Kat Graham) who takes a trip to romantic Verona, Italy, after a breakup, only to find that the villa she reserved was double-booked, and she’ll have to share her vacation with a cynical British man (Tom Hopper).

The trailer shows Kat Graham's Julie Hutton, whose lifelong fantasy vacation is to visit Verona, the "City of Love" where Romeo and Juliet met. And she hopes her dream trip might just end in marriage with her boyfriend, Brandon (Raymond Ablack). Julie is taken aback when Brandon ditches her before they begin their journey. But, being the hopeless romantic that she is, she chooses to fly alone to Verona and see what happens. Julie's arrival at the Villa Romantica does not begin well when she realizes that her room is already occupied. The rental has been overbooked, and she now has to share it with Charlie (Tom Hopper), an attractive but hostile British businessman in town. Although Julie and her unexpected roommate initially clash like Tom and Jerry, she makes the best of the situation and realizes that she might just have her Shakespeare love story after all.

The Umbrella Academy star Tom Hopper is playing Charlie, a cynical and handsome British man, who has double booked the room with Julie. Hopper is known for his role as Luther in the Netflix series, The Umbrella Academy. His credits also include Game of Thrones, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Black Sails, Merlin, and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Kat Graham is known for her role as Bonnie Bennett in the CW series, The Vampire Diaries. She has appeared in the Netflix movie Operation Christmas Drop. Her acting credits also include Cut Throat City, The Poison Rose, and Emperor.

Margret Huddleston and Stephanie Slack are producing for Off Camera Entertainment. Johnson is also a producer on the film apart from writing and directing it.
