Apple TV+ has revealed the first trailer for its upcoming action-thriller series, ‘Echo 3.’ Starring The Hobbit trilogy and Fast & Furious star Luke Evans, ‘Echo 3’ will release on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

The highly anticipated ten-episode, action-packed thriller series comes from Academy Award-winning creator Mark Boal (“The Hurt Locker,” “Zero Dark Thirty”) and stars Luke Evans, Michiel Huisman, and Jessica Ann Collins in the leading roles.

"Echo 3," set in South America, follows Amber Chesborough (Collins), a smart young scientist who serves as the emotional center of a small American family. When Amber goes missing on the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Evans), and her husband, Prince (Huisman), both of whom have extensive military experience and troubled pasts, struggle to find her in a layered personal drama set against the explosive backdrop of a covert war.

Martina Gusmán plays Violeta, a popular political columnist, in "Echo 3." James Udom, Maria Del Rosario, Alejandro Furth, Juan Pablo Raba, and special guest star Bradley Whitford star in the series. “Echo 3” is also based on the award-winning series “When Heroes Fly,” created by Omri Givon, and inspired by the eponymous novel by Amir Gutfreund.

“Echo 3” is produced by Keshet Studios, the US production division of Keshet International. The showrunner of the series is Mark Boal, who also serves as a director and executive producer alongside Keshet Studios’ Peter Traugott, Eitan Mansuri, Jason Horwitch, Omri Givon, Avi Nir, Jonathan Doweck, Mark Sourian, Alon Shtruzman, and Karni Ziv. Pablo Trapero directed four episodes in the series including the pilot and serves as an executive producer.
