Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the second trailer for “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.” The newest adventure in the Wizarding World created by J.K. Rowling will release in theaters on April 7, 2022.

The trailer begins with Dumbledore's voice, "Memory is everything. Without it, we are blind. Without it, we leave the fate of our world to chance." The trailer also shows Jacob Kowalski effectively using a magic wand, which could be shocking as he is a Muggle.

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) is well aware that the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is plotting to take over the wizarding world. Unable to defeat him alone, He sought the help of Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid band of wizards, witches, and one courageous Muggle baker on a dangerous quest in which they face ancient and new beasts and struggle with Grindelwald's expanding legion of supporters. But, with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore stay out of the fray?

“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is a sequel to the 2018 movie, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald," the third movie in the Fantastic Beasts series and overall 11th movie in the Harry Potter franchise. The first film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" released in 2016, earned $814 million on the box office, whereas the second film made $654.9 million. Johnny Depp played Gellert Grindelwald in the first two films, but following the verdict of domestic abuse allegations against him, Warner Bros. parted ways with the actor, replacing him with Mads Mikkelsen.

The film features an ensemble cast led by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, two-time Oscar nominee Jude Law, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol,  Katherine Waterston, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Directed by David Yates, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is written by J.K. Rowling & Steve Kloves based on the story by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram, and Tim Lewis. Neil Blair, Danny Cohen, Josh Berger, Courtenay Valenti, and Michael Sharp served as executive producers.

The film’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography George Richmond (“Rocketman,” “Kingsman: The Golden Circle”), three-time Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig and production designer Neil Lamont, four-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood and Yates’ longtime editor Mark Day (“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” the last four “Harry Potter” films). The music is by nine-time Oscar nominee James Newton Howard.

"Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," a David Yates film produced by Heyday Films Production and  Warner Bros. Pictures, will be released in theatres worldwide on April 7, 2022, and in North America on April 15, 2022. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie in select theatres and IMAX worldwide.
