The release date of the Scarlett Johansson-led Black Widow has been postponed. The Marvel Studios movie was originally meant to arrive in theaters on May 1. The film is the latest to join other Disney titles that have been delayed, including Mulan, The New Mutants, and Antlers, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Black Widow is a film about Natasha Romanoff a spy and assassin who grew up being trained by the KGB before breaking from their grasp and becoming an agent of SHIELD and an Avenger. The film is set to be in her quests between the films Civil War and Infinity War.

Black Widow is just the latest of numerous tentpole features, including Mulan, The New Mutants, The Batman, and Jurassic World: Dominion, to face either production or release date delays and postponements as the global coronavirus pandemic fundamentally changes how we carry on with work and daily life. Read the full list of delayed movies and shows here
