Netflix has released the official trailer (watch above) for season 3 of Italian teen-drama series 'Baby' which is also the final season of the show. The season 3 will arrive on September 16 with all the 6 episodes.
The show is a coming-of-age story that explores the unseen lives of Roman high schoolers. Loosely inspired by a true story, the series follows a group of Parioli teenagers as they defy society in their search for identity and independence against the backdrop of forbidden love, family pressures, and shared secrets.
Season 3 will see Chiara, Ludo, and Damiano grapple with volatile family dynamics, pushing friendships, romances to the breaking point, and a looming public scandal, as the police close in and start investigating their double lives secrets begin to surface.
The series was attached to a lot of controversies when it was announced back in 2018 as it is loosely based on the discovery in 2014 that two high school girls from Rome’s wealthy residential Parioli district were selling sex so that they can buy designer clothes and electronic gadgets. Five people, including the mothers of both young women, were arrested at the time.
The series is created and written by Antonio Le Fosse, Giacomo Mazzariol, Marco Raspanti, Romolo Re Salvador and Eleonora Trucchi, It stars Benedetta Porcaroli as Chiara Altieri, Alice Pagani as Ludovica Storti and Riccardo Mandolini as Damiano Younes in the leading roles.
