Netflix Releases Trailer for ‘Lucifer’ Season 5

Netflix has released the trailer for Season 5 of ‘Lucifer’. The first part of the fifth season will premiere on August 21. You can watch the trailer above.

The plot for season 5 says "Lucifer makes a tumultuous return, Chloe rethinks romance, Ella finally finds a nice guy, and Amenadiel adjusts to the whole fatherhood thing."

Earlier Lucifer star Tom Ellis closed a deal with Netflix to return as the title character for the sixth season of Lucifer.

Based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, LUCIFER is the story of the original fallen angel. Lucifer Morningstar, bored from his sulking life in hell, comes to live in Los Angeles. While there, he helps humanity with its miseries through his experience and telepathic abilities to bring people's deepest desires and thoughts out of them. While meeting with a Detective in his nightclub (Lux), a shootout involving him and the Detective leads him to become an LAPD consultant who tries to punish people for their crimes through law and justice.
