Netflix has revealed the first trailer for its upcoming french-language limited series ‘Gone For Good.’ Based on Harlan Coben's best-selling mystery thriller novel of the same name, the mini-series will be released on Netflix on August 13.

Directed by Juan Carlos Medina, The five-episode series stars Finnegan Oldfield, Guillaume Gouix, Nicolas Duvauchelle, Nailia Harzoune, Grégoire Colin, Tomas Lemarquis, Garance Marillier. Harlan Coben is the series’ executive producer.

The series is about Guillaume Lucchesi (Finnegan Oldfield), who is in his 30s, though he had drawn a line under the terrible tragedy which saw the two people he loved the most die: Sonia (Garance Marillier), his first love, and Fred (Nicolas Duvauchelle), his brother. Ten years later, Judith (Nailia Harzoune), whose love has made his life worth living again, mysteriously disappears during his mother's funeral. Guillaume will have to confront all of the secrets that his family and friends have kept hidden from him, as well as those that he has long decided to ignore, to find her. For better, but mostly for worse.

Gone For Good is Harlan Coben's fourth collaboration with Netflix, following the Polish series The Woods, the British series The Stranger, and the forthcoming Spanish series El Inocente.

Netflix has been a fantastic collaborator in adapting my novels in a variety of countries, and it's a bonus that Gone For Good will be made in France. I'm thrilled to be working with such a wonderful French cast and crew.” - said Cobenv at the time Netflix announced the series.

The limited series is created and written by David Elkaïm and Vincent Poymiro in collaboration with Pauline Guena, Nacim Mehtar, and Marion Festraëts. The series is produced by Calt Studio (Xavier Matthieu).
